Linux open source software runs the internet. It's time for open source hardware to do the same - for the non-virtual economy.

Distributed production is an idea whose time has come. Open source microfactories can take us there. Imagine transcendence of artificial scarcity. So we can begin to evolve - as humans.

We build industrial machines and publish the plans on the internet for free (flash through 50 slides). We also built a house with aquaponic greenhouse - in 5 days. Open source social production works.

But we need to take it to the next level. Linux started 25 years ago - and today - volunteers provide $1B of development contributions - every year. How do we do that for Open Source Ecology?

Let's push the limits of what we all can do - to make a better world, with open hardware technology.
