• Buildings produce 30% of all CO2 for heating, cooling, and power. 15% of all global emissions is from heating and cooling of buildings. [2]
• Cars contribute to 10% of all carbon emissions. [3]
• Transportation contributes 20% of global emissions - [4]
• Cargo ships are only about 3% of overall emissions, and third largest in the transportation sector after cars and trucks. Cars and trucks are about 60%.
  • But think about it: compared to all cars and trucks and transportation in general: buildings produce 3x more emissions than cars, and 1.5x emissions as ALL of transportation.
