Special Interests

In a disintegrated society of high specialization, each specialization, perhaps inadvertently, constitutes a special interest. This is by definition. It's interest is typically single - that represented by its discipline.

Special interesteans competing strife, and does not appear to benefit the whole. One poignant example is 'sovereign sheriffs' doing independent inquisitions, unfounded on fact, of voter fraud.
