Neosubsistence - a version of subsistence in the digital age, where it becomes feasible for communities to produce all essential goods up to a modern standard of living. This relies on globally-generated open design repositories and local production capacity, such as via RepLabs. Neosubsistence may include surplus production for outside markets, and it is a means whereby material security is guaranteed to individuals motivated by pursuit of Higher Purpose.
