Centrifugal Govenor

Basics

• This is a type of Mechanical Govenor that essentially sets a max rotational speed via the moment of inertia of the weighted componet
• If it spins faster, the weights go farther out slowing the rotation, if the govenor spins slower, the weights drop increasing rotational speed
• Tuneable versions can be made with screw in "limits" that prevent movement above or below certain points
