o David, Lidia, Jia, Michael, Chicky, Maria, Christian, me, Prof, Antony

Dear David, dear Jia,

Yesterday we had a preparation call with Marcin and Lidia.

We discussed the standards, size, materials, motors, software that we are normally using - and we prepared some questions for you and your team.

  1. What are your current challenges? What could we help with?
  2. Can we have sample of their material (Regolith + algae) to use in our experiments? So we can contribute as closely as possible to your existing model?
  3. Geometry: do you want us to make Infill, pockets: double layer for insulation?
  4. How do you deal with irregular surface: Did you solve the challenge of the foundation/floor slab?
  5. What size do you want us to build at (scale)
  6. Temperature variations and distortion (should we simulate Mars weather)
  7. Opening frames. Prefab door, window, oculus (roof)

Hole? Do we "print hole" or do we "cut holes"? Printing holes would mean we need to be able to turn the nozzle ON/OFF

  1. Inner membrane for air (bicycle principle with inner tube and tire)

These are the kind of questions we may be asking in our meeting to contribute to your project. Please let us know when would be a good time to speak. We would like to start designing and ordering materials, based on your requirements.

Thank you very much
