- One of the big universities in Florida USA, along with Florida State University , University of Central Florida , University of North Florida and University of South Florida
- Has many programs but it's "big thing" is steam
- They also have a relitively large agricultural program as well
- Is in Gainsville Florida ~1 hour drive from Jacksonville Fl
- Due to being both agricultural, and steam focused, it can be a great place for an OSE Chapter
