  • How it's made - by adding magnesium, nodules of carbon form, leading to not fractures, but malleability - [1]
  • Very castable - such as for vises. Melting point of only 1150 to 1200C. Doable in electric kiln. [2]
  • It's also high carbon steel - but round graphite nodules make it more malleable. [3]
