Welcome to the world of open source ecology. In 2008, we came up with the concept of the Global Village Construction Set - a set of 50 tools and machines needed for a modern standard of living - a civilization in a box that can be replicated inexpensively anywhere in the world. We prototyped dozens of these tools and machines, and are taking this to the finish line by 2028 - our stated 20 year timeline.
