We started OSE in 2004 with a notion that a collaborayive, open source civilization would be more efficient and humane at the same time. I borrow those words from Peter Drucker.

The status of open hardware in 2025 is a failed promise. Meanwhile, open source software has reaches limited success. The opportunity to create mutually assured abundance remains to be tapped. It can be more powerful than thensexond cominhbof Christ.

We are making major strides forwatd on this. Welcome to OSE 3.0, a major milestone.

OSE 1.0 was the stage of hippies in the woods, as we created Factor e Farm and arrived with a tractor that soon broke, a veggie oil powered Suburban, a trailer, 100 chickens, 4 goats. And some power tools.

After the tractor broke, I decided to build my own. This ended up propelling us to the world stage in 2011. You can see my GVCS TED talk for a summary of that story. Thus started OSE 2.0.

April 12, 2025, marks OSE 3.0. This is the stage where we aim to create abundance at scale, having uncovered a bootstrapping revenue model that can pave the way. Otherwise, the revolution would not be funded.
