At OSE, students contribute to defining their standards. If such transparency is provided within human systems of manufacturing and intellectual production - then we have come a long way to designing a civilization that is transparent, efficient, and humane - based on open access to productive knowhow. This is a major stride in leveling the playing field, where fairness and equal opportunity begins to dominate over proprietary, exclusive monopolies or cartels such as the NCAA or OPEC [1].
