We create spaces where people all across the planet can collaborate to invent open technology and open business models together. By adhering to a set of guiding design principles, we generate affordable solutions that are accessible enough for almost anyone to build themselves using widely available tools and materials. Through open enterprise, we can create fundamental, enduring solutions to poverty and do so in a way that promotes the regeneration of the environment.

We are working on the Global Village Construction Set (GVCS): a modular, DIY, low-cost, high-performance platform that allows for the easy fabrication of the 50 different industrial machines that it takes to build a small, sustainable civilization with modern comforts. The platform's technology spans multiple industry sectors including agriculture, construction, energy production, transportation, and digital fabrication.

Our programs are based on four fundamental activities:

1. Designing and field-testing the 50 Global Village Construction Set (GVCS) machines
2. Creating training documentation for each machine
3. Conducting local, hands-on training workshops
4. Promoting entrepreneurship through Distributive Enterprise
