Time Log
About
OSE is angaging in an Impossible Project of opensourcing the technosphere, at $50B cost. Each developer is expected to track their hours spent in contributing to technical development, prototyping, enterprise development, etc. The initial goal is completion of the Global Village Construction Set (GVCS) by 2028. This is worth $11T in productive value. The further goal of opensourcing the entire technosphere is more ambitious than the GVCS itself - which is a small subset of the technosphere. The entire technosphere - or the GVCS + more advanced technologies such as microchips, spaceships, and getting along with one another - has a deadline of 2036 - as we achieve the Collaborative Singularity.

The Time Log is an embedded log where you can keep track of your development hours. It should be embedded at the top of your Work Log. This feeds into the total time which we are tracking for the development of a new civilization. You can see the overall graph at MJ Log.
First, you need to embed the time log in your work log. You can embed it like this:
Once your log is activated on the back end, it will begin to look like the graph below. To use your log, here are the 3 steps:
All time sheet hours are tallied in this graph, so you can see overall team progress:

When you log your work, please break it by morning hours, lunchtime hours, and afternoon hours. Please list a specific task and time for it. If the numbers are not clear, then it is worth asking why it is not clear:
- Lack of direction or instructions - download the CAD and start reviewing it in your ample spare time
- Task switching - not a good build strategy all together
- Distractions or low energy - time for a break.
This is part of data collection where we document learning curves and ergonomics - for overall cost structure clarity in the published business model. This is not bullshit paperwork, it's data for a robust business plan that includes onboarding and production data - as large numbers of people will be learning from this data.
