Anyone Can Cook
From Open Source Ecology
Basics
- A saying from the animated movie Ratatouille (a great example of a Family Aimed Media With Philosophical Content )
- It seems childish/meaningless at first, but it is incredibly concise, meaningful once it "clicks"
- For the explanation it is best to watch the movie, and/or the Aside by "Anton Ego" (check name + spelling)
- TLDR:
- Anyone can be great at SOMETHING (but not all things)
- Anyone can do a passable job at any skill with training (ie cook basic pasta)
- Greatness can arise from anyone anywhere, and is often easy to "see coming" (ie Prejudice and Bias )
- Finally this saying shows the power of taking time to turn long rants and concepts into an elequent, Proofread, concise statement, as thic concept can EASILY be a Video Essay or even a multi class degree, yet a simple sentance CAN get the basic concept across
