Community Capitalization

The Community Capitalization model promoted by OSE for funding replicas of Autonomous, Digital-Age Communities involves:

1. Co-investment of land by one of the community members, with land put in trust (equitable interest extinguished) as a site of Permanent Human Heritage under Meritocratic Governance.
2. Immersion Training in skills required for efficient, cross-disciplinary productivity and Psychological Maturity.
3. Access to a RepLab for producing technology at the cost of scrap steel.

OSE's experiment involves assessing the feasibility of such a capitalization model in replication of Open Stewardship Enterprise Communities of 30 people on a 30 acre scale at a cost of $10k in capitalization by a core of 4 fabricators + joining team. See Replication Strategy.
