International Pictorial Markings For Handling Of Goods
Basics
- Most Shipped Goods, Especially Cardboard Boxes are covered in various symbols
- This page aims to go over the International Standards and Standard Practices for these symbols
- This will aid both Shipping of OSE Products, but also better awareness on handling of things purchased and shipped to OSE Work Areas
Supplies
- If not using Direct Marking such as a conveyor with a Continuous Inkjet , Laser Engraving / Wood Branding , or Handheld Inkjet Printers etc either a Printed Shipping Label or Sticker will be needed
- Albeit not as good for larger scale operations a 3D Printed Stencil could be used along with Spray Paint or an Airbrush
- A Permanent Marker may suffice for a stencil too
