Final

Did you ever want to design or build something, but did not know - where to start?

We've got a program - that in only 9 days - will make sure -that never happens to you -again.

Through our collaborative design and build training - in only 9 days - you will learn and be proficient in CAD, 3D printing,

electronics, microcontrollers, and coding. You will build your own 3D printer, a pen plotter, a cordless welder, and ... a Raspberry Pi tablet.

You’ll even get to take the things you build - home with you after the program ends!

That includes the 3D Printer, the CNC plotter, and the Raspberry Pi tablet! So you will always have an effective open hardware development kit - ready when you are.

In the first 4 days, you will learn how to design just about anything in FreeCAD, as you design and print various tools you’ll

be using throughout the program- you’ll even have built your own 3D Printer by the end of your first day. Throughout the program,

you’ll be building a Video Studio with lights, camera, tripod, and slider.

The key to making possible - what seems impossible to do in only 9 days - is group collaboration and team work. We’re passionate

about the power - that focused and structured collaboration unleashes -

and know - you will be too - after this 9 day experience.

Our January event will be held in 3 physical locations.

Belgium, Virginia, and Texas - all running at the same time -creating a

unique opportunity - for all three locations to benefit from each other.

You will collaborate via the internet - with 100% open source toolchains - allowing you to build viable products collectively - in

a fraction of the time -it would take to do on your own - with YouTube videos as your only support.

It's like a crash course for open hardware. You WILL learn, you WILL build relationships and friendships, you WILL have fun, and

you WILL be blown away by what you’re capable of in only 9 days!

We welcome young women and men - of any age - to dive right in - to push the limits of rapid learning - to explore the limits of

what we all can do together- with open hardware technology - through open collaboration. So join us for a fun experience that

will shake your world, expand your mind, and reframe your definition of what’s possible. Enrollment is limited so please register now.

Marcin Version

Did you ever want to design or build something, but did not know where to start?

We've created an immersion, 9 day program to address just this. You will learn CAD, 3D printing, electronics, microcontrollers, and coding as you build a 3D printer, cordless welder, pen plotter, and a Raspberry Pi tablet. You also take the 3D printer and tablet, and other tools with you so you have an effective open hardware development kit.

In 4 days we teach you how to design just about anything in FreeCAD, as you design and print various tools - with a 3D printer that you have built on the first day. You'll practice more design as you design and build a Video Studio with lights, camera, tripod, and slider.

This is impossible to do all in 9 days, but we can do it because we all collaborate.

Our January event is held in 3 physical locations at the same time: Belgium, Virginia, and Texas.

We all collaborate via the internet with 100% open source toolchains - with a goal of releasing viable products. It's like a Startup Weekend for open hardware.

We welcome young women and men of any age to dive right in - to push the limits of rapid learning - to explore the limits of what we all can do - with open hardware technology - for open colaboration. So join us for an experience that will shake your world.

Last STEAM Camp

On the first day, we build a simple 3D printer - D3D Simple - that we use during the rest of the Camp for rapid prototyping. We will build a simple CNC mill on the second day, which we will use in building an Arduino microcontroller from scratch. We will build battery packs, and a simple welder that can weld 1/4" steel. You take the 3D printer home with you.

While these are all small prototyping and education machines - they are fully scalable to larger and more powerful versions. You will be able to print parts for our professional grade printer or CNC torch table, and you'll learn how to control the larger machines by upgrading the simple controller to an industrial grade version. The idea is that we teach you the theory and practice - and it's up to you what you'll do with this skill set.

In the last 5 days we build a raspberry pi toruch-screen tablet. We have the option to use the long-life battery packs, 3D printing, simple circuit making, and using other off-the shelf parts - to make a functional video documentation suite. We can design and build other parts - tripods, lights, cordless mikes, wireless keyboards, interchangeable lens, camera sliders - or even cell phone module with a SIM card - all from scratch via rapid prototyping and easy-to-source off-the-shelf parts.

So join us, and start your journey on collaborative design for a transparent and inclusive economy of abundance.

We are pleased to announce the OSM SC, a one of a kind immersion course in the design and build of tech tahat matter.

Did you ever want to design something, but just did not know where to start? OR you did not even think it was possibles because of the tools or skills involved?

So we created a unique 9 day program to fill this exact need. Now you could learn to weld, build 3d printers, create 3d cad design, and use our part library to design any type of cnc machine. Not only that, but you'll learn to do this using 100% os toolchains, with which you can buld just about anything, easily and inxpensively.

We want to create a transparent and inclusive economy of abundance. We believe that it is up to all of us to build a world that we would all like to live in. And in our workshop, you will get the practical skills to do just that.

You'll get a crash course on mechanical and cad design.

We want you to take the skills that you learn and apply them to your owncommunity, by starting a biz, teaching others, making an impact.

Each day has design training and workshop time to prax what you learned.

We have 18 classes total where we teach you the basic vocabulary of design where you learn how to use our part library to build almost any machine.

We also have literally tons of tools and materials to work with.

You will get experience with the Universal Axis, which is literally a robotics construction set which allows you to build cnc machines of any size or shape just like you were building with legos.

We will show you how advanced tech can be achieved by common people with open source design and a construction set approach.

We welcome young women and men of any age to partiicipate - to push the limit of what we all can do with open hardware technology. So join us for an experience that will change your world.
