- Uses standard stepper motors, bowden tubing

- Uses sensors to determine the "break" in the filament in
- Thus has a single in, and out for the module
- Mainly used for the Open Source Filament Swapping Device , but may also be used in a dedicated FDM Filament Spool Merging Device for managment of spools (merge two smaller into one larger, for either less storage, or less spool changing mid print later
