Pen Tablet
From Open Source Ecology
Basics
- Like a digital tablet, but no screen, only the pressure sensing, and often some buttons
- More effective for drawing and draftting than a mouse, yet much cheaper than a touchscreen device
- Often USB connected, although wireless models do exist
Reccomendations
Low Cost
- Huion H640P
- Has all the artsy specs (pressure sensitivity, tilt sensing etc)
Mid Range
- Huion Insproy Ink
- ~80 USD
- It has a battery free drawing screen on the back, that is somewhat dim (mainly useable in sunlight, or bright lighting), but can easily replace paper, and perhaps may be useable in a waterproof bag/case? It also doesn't reequire power/a seperate screen etc for that feature so this can be useful
- It has usb-c as it's connector
- It works with android as well as PC/Mac/Linux
- Has all the fancy art specs (pressure sensitivity, tilt sensing etc)
- User:Eric I got this a few months back, works well, great for sketching ideas out, doing pen-and paper math (without paper...), and art (The last of which i am...not the best at...so far) All in all would reccomend
