Hello all,

What do you think about a PLM system based on a mediawiki ?

I've few ideas about that... Is it possible that I create some pages on your wiki to test this PLM system ?

Well, I begin with this page and all my test pages will be in this category:PLM

Basing various tools around simple platforms like Mediawiki is a good idea. Email me at info at opensourceecology dot org.

Hello Marcin,
Ok, we will contact you once we have enough data to make the tour of all the features that this system could manage.
We would like this system can take care of these features
As explained here,we will start by managing a small pilot project because it will allow us to test almost of the revision possibilities.
So, we are starting with this project.
The actual structure has been design in 2D with this svg file for laser cutting : File:Final_cutcutcodak_29112015.svg (This is the version 1).
If the design had been made in 3D before producing the structure, some optimisations could have done => ECR (Engineering Change Request) 000001 : description of the modification to be done.
Version 2 : partial 3D desgin with FreeCAD to update only the parts which have to be modified.
Version 3 : Complete 3D design on Onshape with all features that this tool can offer (branch & merge with several versions, managed for example with variable parameters)
Simultaneously, documentation of the second project. In the BOM of this project, minimum one part (or raw material) will be common with the first project => So, managing the change of this part type can be studied.
We will contact you directly in the few days/weeks to talk about that.
Openly,
Cyril, for OSE France
