Was reading/writing up on this, because i got some Shell EFG from a Pump into a Safety Can for the Hot Water Pressure Washer and whatnot for an upcoming trip (since the on-site fuel farm wasn’t working).
It smelled DIFFERENT. I don’t know if this is simply due to it being a different mix in order to reach the 89 Octane efg “spec”, or if it was due to it being old/stale (it was the CLOSEST gas station with EFG, but not the best/highest throughput, so it might be stale as hell lol
We’ll find out i guess!
(Sidenote 100LL smelled essentially the same as that TrueFuel so short of combustion lead product smell (which i luckily did NOT smell, at least direct, residual airport dust was probably there), Alkylate Fuel is probably that smell.)
