Makes sense, need the agitation or just the surface layer is effected

I wonder if those soaps with abrasives would help do the same thing without the need for disposables ( surgical / ICU's have these neat "pre-soaped" sponges with an abrasive side and nail scraper, great for thoroughness / Idiot Proofing, terrible for waste / rags etc in need of cleaning themselves (i think we had some page on one using charcoal as the abrasive ( Charcoal Soap maybe? ) (granted all the tOxiN stuff, but excluding the hype/disinformation it does have good qualities, and is easily available), I think cellulosic stuff (all sorts of shells/hulls etc) work as well. )

(lots of rambling above, but essentially basic detergent (dish soap) + charcoal / something like bark/pits/hulls, made into non-sharp small particles = This )

Granted no need to get excessive with it (not some risk of killing someone, or ruining a satellite/rover, unlike surgical/cleanrooms) (and a need to not get obsessive with it!), but a similarly thorough method, as well as "clean" and "dirty" zones with scrubbing in and out are always good
