Talk:Safety Integrity Level
I may have this confused. I think it might just be levels of safety required, but i also saw it represented as levels of outcomes, ie machine breaks down (1), machine breaks down and injures some people (2) , machine breaks down and injures/kills some people (3), machine breaks down and injures/kills MANY people (4). Although i guess those overlap a bit? Either way getting into a bit of terminology hell, and if anyone has experience/knowledge in the area, feel free to chime in.
