> I have gone through the category:Steam engine

Feel free to correct any capitalization errors in category references. I have tried to consistently use "Category:Steam Engine" in the pages I've developed, though I may have missed some. Also, feel free to add various steam engine pages to categories related to this project. Mjn 06:05, 22 June 2011 (PDT)

I have copied your proposal for an electric valve system to Steam Engine Design/Rotating Valve and added a drawing that illustrates it. It's an interesting design that would be quite good, provided that the sealing problem can be addressed. Mjn 06:55, 22 June 2011 (PDT)

I think a cool way of solving this is to use a molten salt thermal storage system/ array at around 800 C working temperature. If it had an inlet for the flue of both the pyrolysis and pure combustion sources, it would actually cool the flue gases and be the first step towards cooling and storing flue gases for fractionally distilling them. Additionally, it would still be able to store heat from pure biomass combustion during inclement weather, such as week long snowstorms in winter. James Clark 10:10, 28 June 2011 (PDT)
