Steam engine for boats

Project ecology could include ferrocement boats that use the steam engine (which is an external combustion engine) to use algae collected from the sea to, say, cross the ocean.

To see where the next patch of algae that can be collected, you'd use user-owned-satellite information.

Well, that's an interesting idea. It is a bit odd that there is no open source boat in the GVCS. Could this be because Factor e Farm is about as far from the ocean as it's possible to be? Generally, the product ecology refers to how this product relates to the other GVCS-50. I took a bit of liberty to add aquaculture and a greenhouse, but I wanted something to show that the waste steam is good for something. Mjn 17:49, 1 July 2011 (PDT)
