I don't know to what degree it is the cause, vs what degree there are other factors, or even to an extent a sort of artificial scarcity, EITHER WAY, they mentioned regulations pushing for Amorphous Metal Transformers ; neat tech i hadn't heard of yet, thought i'd drop the term here.
