Basics
- Often Abbreviated as VOC
- Chemicals with high vapor pressure at room temperature (see also Standard Operating Conditions )
- Useful in paints, and resins, or as solvents
- Can be a health risk and/or pollutant if not managed correctly
- Can also result from combustion and some industrial processes
- Main method of industrial reduction is with some form of a Gas Scrubber
