- Do: use vise
- Do: when no vise, use vise grips for easier hold on one side
- Don't: vise grip on soft metals
- Do: Holding main body while turning on aluminum, copper, brass, or thin pipes
- Don't: use only a single wrench to turn soft metals
- No thread tape on flare or compression fittings
- Yes: thread tape on NPT tubing
- Torque: use torque wrench
- Do: understand torque numeracy
- Do or don't use Nylog (see [1] at Senville Aura).
