3D Printers

• 2 people have reserved printers
• We currently have 2-3 printers ready for printing parts, so we need 6 more minimum.
• We have 14 people registered. It makes most sense to build 7 printers in the first 4 days - via a perfected workflow.
• If we have 10 printers printing - we can print parts for the 2" universal Axis. Basic ergonomics:
• Now the question is can we print a sufficient number of parts for 7 3D Printers
• Start with D3D v19.06 BOM, then inventory - and start printing.

• Oil-impregnated 2" bushing - 8000 lb+ lateral force capacity- $9.41 - [10]. $240. 24 needed, 18 minimum. 2" is huge and weighs about 1 lb each if naval bronze acc to Metal Weight Calculator.
• Belts - see GT2_Belts#Belt_Drive_Cost - $12/foot x6 = under $100.
