Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer

Basics

• A thermal method of reducing Volatile Organic Compounds in a gas stream
• Mainly used for Flue Gas treatment
• Uses beds of ceramic to absorb the heat of the heated clean/exiting gas stream and then swaps flow direction via valves to use this heated exit bed as a heated inlet, thus improving efficiency
