Basics

  • A Non Profit that still makes profit, but does accounting in such a way that they can appear to be making no profit
  • Mainly an issue of lack of Oversight / Transparency
  • This may be helped via the Open Budgeting Standard , existing similar things, and future government / multi-state action along these lines
  • Also probably merging this with critiques of "philanthropy" / a "psudo-non profit" page
