Introduction
As a result of the Seed Eco-Home Builder Apprenticeship (2 years competency based), an Apprentice can move at their own pace through skills of, with related typical pay though exact pay will be determined by which category the worker falls into:
- Builder - $25/hr - building key aspects of the house. This progresses from framing to roof, bathroom, kitchen, electrical, plumbing, heat pump, PV, carport, site preparation (trees, grading), and site finishing (trenching, landscaping)
- Integrated Builder - $35/hr - once an indidividual can do all of the build steps above, and can quality control the same by going through specific quality control checklists for the entire build
- Team Leader - $50/hr - running crews, as sent into the field for specific projects.
