Lumen PnP

Basics

• A Fully Open Source (In Software Used in Development , Hardware Made and via extensive, detailed Multimedia Project Documentation ) Pick and Place Machine
  • (/ Multi-Modal Documentation / Mixed Media Project Documentation , need to decide on which name)
• It was designed with Mid-Scale Manufacturing in mind
• Opulo the company (recently formed as the project grew!) developing this, is currently Selling Kits , while continuing to develop the device
  • The future plans are laid out in the project's GitHub

Project Requirements

• Automated - no human interaction necessary from attaching the paste-applied board to the machine to having a board ready for reflow
• Capable of picking and placing components down to 0603 passives

Kits for Sale

• The Product Page on Opulo's Website for the Lumen PnP Kit (As of now it is going for 1,145.00 USD + Shipping, without Printed Parts or Powered Feeders (The latter are still under development), with an estimated Lead Time of Six Weeks)

• Really well made page though, definitely something we could do! OSE.org sort of does this, as well as on-wiki product pages/that template, but something like what they did may be neat.
