Basics

  • An electronic connection standard, in similar widespread use to USB , 12v Barrel Jacks , and MIDI
  • Is often lockable, and enviroment hardened
  • Available in:
    • Two-Pin
    • Three-Pin (Most common)
    • Four-Pin
    • Six, and Seven Pin are less common, but DO exist if need be
  • "Bundled" cables are available for large amounts of cables ( Cable Managment is the only advantage
