Basics
- Could be abbreviated with the nicely marketable PEA? (is this already done anywhere?)
- Algae that has been genetically modified to not only produce, but alse excrete desired products such as:
- Sugars
- Oil
- Fuel
- Especially useful with Porous Substrate Bioreactor
- In theory outside of filtering of effulent, the liquid would already contain the desired product with no extraction needed, only seperation (Outside of optional treatment of removed biomass)
- With oil, a simple filter, then oil-water seperator would work
