Basics
- Recyclable materials that are sorted by the entity producing the waste
- Reduces effort needed "downstream", and increases odds of the materials being used vs being landfilled, or used as RDF
- Most commonly the categories are:
- Mixed Plastics (on a community level, by plastic is obiously better)
- Metals
- Glass
