Executive Summary
Learning How to Be a Human is a core part of the entry level college-level curriculum for all of OSE's higher learning. The general curriculum of OSE's 4 year college-level program includes Architectures of Civilization, Learning How to Learn, and Learning How to Be a Human - in addition to Build-Design training - as part of integrated education aimed at cultivating future stewards of the planet. Such stewards are intended to become pillars of a world of abundance, equal opportunity, democracy, and freedom on a more level playing field: a truly collaborative world in an inclusive economy of abundance.
Curriculum Topics
- Index of Human Possibility - what are human capacities - physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually? Such understanding is core to understanding the limits and peak performance of individuals and countries: personally, professionally, politically, etc.
- Index of Possibility - coupled with natural resources and energy on a planetary and cosmic scale, and coupling this with evolution attained by humans to date - what are the possibilities for prosperity, freedom, and peace in today's society? We explore this for deep qualitative and quantitative understanding of possibilities for prosperity on earth.
- Psychosocial Integration - from the time one is born to the time one rests on their deathbed - how does a person evolve personally and socially to navigate a complex society? How does this effect the society in which we live in terms of getting along with one another, collaborating, innovating, and evolving as humans?
- Quantitative Abundance - this is the first principles study of resources and energy, and the human species interaction with such resources and energy - for creating free, democratic, and open societies that thrive. Main points are the 10000 Factor, and the 1000 Factor. From first principles, Civilization Bypass is feasible.
