Revision as of 05:03, 13 January 2013

Overview

This page contains a list of the most up to date files that have been uploaded to the OSE Wiki relating to the CEB Press fabrication. This list is an attempt to organize the latest critical CAD data, spreadsheets, code, etc for the current revision into one location. Since this compilation is based on an outside interpretation of current work completed at Factor-e-Farm, those who are better informed should feel free to make corrections.

The latest documentation for the CEB Press is currently available for the revision 4 or "CEB Press prototype IV"

CAD Data

  • This PDF appears to be the latest 2d shop drawings for revision IV. Per the CEB Press page; "corrected after September 24-28, 2012 Collaborative Production Run, and needing many corrections after November 23, 2012 Collaborative Production Run."
  • This zip file appears to be the original Solidworks design file that was used to create the 3d model for Revision IV. When I import this file into Alibre Design software, it does not appear to import all of the parts.
  • These files are dxf files that can be easily imported into CNC cutting machines (i.e. laser-cutter, waterjet, plasma, or torch cutter). These files were introduced in the OSE Christmas Gift to the World 2012.

BOM

The BOM includes 1/8" and 1/2" steel, plus hydraulics, cam rollers, and bolts from November 23, 2012 Collaborative Production Run. The steel order is minimized to include those parts not covered by CNC torch table cutting - File:Sweigerxmas steel.ods
