Visits
To further public education, participation, hands on experience and still achieve our facility goals, we offer facility tours. Due to the volume of visitors, we are reserving Saturday afternoons for this purpose. Our rate is $500 for the afternoon per group, regardless of the number of people visiting. True Fans are not required to pay for these tours. We may make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Once made, the fee is non-refundable.
To set up a visit:
(1) Please email us with a proposed date and time:
To: OpenSourceEcology@gmail.com
Subject: {Your Name} {Visiting Factor e}
(2) Select the Saturday that you would like to visit. The tour begins at 1 PM. Tell us your reasons for visiting Factor e Farm, and what you would like to get out of the visit.
(3) Download a copy of our liability release form, fill it out, sign it, and send a digital copy in an attachment to the above email. If you do not do this prior to visiting, you may sign it when you arrive.
(4) Make your payment 2 weeks prior to the visit. Your group must pay $500 for the tour or $50 for the work day. Lunch is included for both types of visits. Pay either by mail or by a one-time donation to our PayPal account. Payment is non-refundable.

Work Days
Another option is Work Day Group visits, also on Saturdays, where instead of paying for a tour, the group pays a $50 fee and reserves their spot - and puts in an afternoon of work. We do lunch together, followed by a brief tour, and then 4 hours of work. This Work Day visit ends by 5 PM. The minimum number of people is 4 for Work Day groups. Work days and tours must be confirmed with payment 2 weeks in advance.
Note: We reserve the right to change these guidelines as we continue in our organizational development. Check the 'last updated' date on top of this page to determine the currency of this information.
