Could be abbreviated with the nicely marketable PEA? (is this already done anywhere?)
Algae that has been genetically modified to not only produce, but alse excrete desired products such as:
- Sugars
- Oil
- Fuel
Especially useful with Porous Substrate Bioreactor
In theory outside of filtering of effulent, the liquid would already contain the desired product with no extraction needed, only seperation (Outside of optional treatment of removed biomass)
- With oil, a simple filter, then oil-water seperator would work
