Source Seperated Recycling

Basics

• Recyclable materials that are sorted by the entity producing the waste
• Reduces effort needed "downstream", and increases odds of the materials being used vs being landfilled, or used as RDF
• Most commonly the categories are:
  • Mixed Plastics (on a community level, by plastic is obiously better)
  • Metals
  • Glass Recycling
