The stock model of the Seed Eco-Home comes with 6kW or 12kW of PV. This is sufficient to save $1-2k/year in energy bills. 6 hr*6kW*365 days=$1700 market value and for 12kW, it is $3400 market value of energy at 13 cents per kWhr. See Solar Energy for cost of electricity.
