During the First Outbreak (Which as of this being current is still happening) there has been a shortage in people, and supplies for response to COVID-19
This is largely due to countries being un prepared both in supplies, but also in Pandemic Control Measures
This page goes over the hard data of these shortages in order tom facilitate the organisation of OSE and other groups' efforts to alleviate this shortage

3.5 billion N95 masks may be needed over 1 year
3M produces 35 million per month, or 420M per year - about 1/10 the need
There is a dire short supply of N95 masks
But do N95 masks protect against COVID? - see graphic on particle size and N95 - [2].
N95 seem to protect against the virus - but they are not recommended for the public because wearing them all day is not possible because it is hard to breathe through them. [3]
