Today:
- going to spend the weekend with MechEng. Will get his contact information and discuss parameters.

- worked on framework, will do more of that tonight
- Got permission to use whatever steel we have on hand at the shop. This means no delay because of lack of $$.
- Started fabrication of 2" pins, by doing the lathing on them.
- Emailed a few folks about the DVD
Today:
- Finish Fab of 2" pins and do 2.5" pins.
- chop up some more steel and make more parts
Blockers:
- Smooth sailing... Getting all machines and tooling together does take a while, but I have so many materials, I can work on something else if I get stuck cause of a machine.

Not on my end. Assume I have no updates for a while unless I respond differently haha...all my time is on my new job right now :P
No progress since yesterday. Waiting on Marcin.
General: Two major limitations are time delays with bottlenecks from Marcin and funding bottlenecks.
GROUP BLOCKERS: Iron worker; If anyone can get the software to analyse the iron worker punch I will ask my friend who is a mechanical engineer if he can compute the forces.
Lifetrac; Find the software and I will ask friends or calculate the loads myself. I found documentation on skid loader deaths and hazards, roll over protection and falling object protection need to be introduced into the CAD. Its Just a simple cage
My current goals; Develop aquaponics and geodesic dome greenhouses or shelter. Educate myself to participate in all aspects of OSE.
Yesterday: -Studied JavaScript in code academy. -Applied for mechanical engineering apprenticeship. -Made YouTube video showing dome survives snow.
Today; -Check dome to see if solar panels and pump have enough energy. -continue on code academy. -research simulation tools for iron worker and . -research safety regulations for
My Blockers; -Money for extra solar panel or battery. -Lack of time. -using the different software to Brianna or Mike

Waiting to hear back from metal suppliers for my quotes. In the meantime, I need to redo my design to fit the slightly larger angle blades. Also, I am going to the shop to see what steel stock we have that I can use, and look for our surface grinder.
The one blocker now is money. Marcin mailed me a check for the materials this morning, and I need that to buy stuff. I bought the blades yesterday for 1300$ish, with my own money, so I really can't afford to buy more materials out of pocket. I might be able to have my grandad buy the steel and pay him back, but this gets messy...
LifeTrac IV: James Slade should be getting a LifeTrac to retrofit to angled loader arms and trying out new seat positioning
LifeCat: Stalled after initial research as I just got a new job that is taking up all my time. I will try to get back to it when things slow down a bit. Initial space claim and rough specifications are designed however and I have an idea for the base frame, just a matter of putting the time into CAD to develop it.

I'm ordering all parts for the Ironworker, and will begin building as soon as possible, probably tomorrow or the next day.
I can continue on ironworker for quite some time, but future blockers would be punch/ stripper analysis mentioned in the blog. There's not any other potential blockers that anyone remote could help me with.
I should point out that progress on the Steam Engine is waiting on word from Marcin.
