Basics
- A Scrap Derived Sheet made from Liquid Packaging Board
Production
- Use as large of LPB feedstocks as you can collect locally
- Dissasemble Them
- Clean Them
- Cut to peices as square/rectangular as possible, avoiding cuts
- Plan beforehand to optimize shavpe vs number of cuts
- Also try to make them as "clean" as possible, use a CNC Drag Knife if possible
- Less cuts = less seams in the final product
- Join them in a similar manner to Quilting
- As of now, this is known to be "do-able" via Stiching
- Need to see if Thermal Welding or Ultrasonic Welding can be done
- Produce to the desired Standard Textile Feedstock Forms
Uses
- Waterproofing
- Semi-Structual Parts
- As a High Strength, Semi-Rigid Textile (Like Canvass (Textile) )
- Minor Insulation
