• Any form of fabric that is made by a process other than weaving
• Can be made from Natural Fibers , Semi-Synthetic Fibers , Synthetic Fibers , or some combination of these
• Felt to a certain extent is an early Nonwoven Fabric, and thus may also be a source for methods/research etc
• Many applications but main OSE applications are

  • Sanitary Use
  • Geotextiles
  • Insulation
