OSE Communications Strategy

Kainos is working on it. But more than this - how to do it?

1. Video studio - onsite production - podcast, Radio Free World, instructionals, interviews, etc. Protocol needed for each.
2. Create simple thumbnails for content that enters the wiki. FlashyXM mashup for: tech dev - commits to wiki with image highlight generated with ChatGPT. See this example - [1], refined to [2]. If this is automated, it could work. Disadvantage is that AI needs some training, which takes time. But if we simplify to the point of abstraction, and provide a workflow with specific examples - we are good.
3. Mashup feeds from daily classes and turns them to highlight reels. Is there software that take a long video feed - and converts it to shortform video? Sure, or you can do it yourself. [3]
4. Big picture meaning from writing the OSE book. On a daily basis, quality meaning is extracted. How to involve the greater community in the book? Then there are scammy things like publishing a book by getting interviewed and a company writes it for you.
5. Forum for dedicated development discussion - collaborative problemsolving.
6. Upvote - is Lemmy in the running? But how about embeds?
7. A collaborative embeddable CAD platform - start designs amd continue realtime and asynchronous. Embed recent thumbs of content being worked-on. Automate that so we have a mashup page featuring a large number of ongoing designs. Mechanical design platform available.
8. Collaborative Mechatronic design - for consumer goods all together. Simple extension of basic fab capacity.
9. Collaborative Electronic Product Design - methodology needed.
10. Communications are edu-centric. Design Guides for 50 GVCS machines - Reframe in Construction Sets - Tractor Construction Set, Power Electronics Construction Set (PV panels aka 'solar concentrator' Welder, induction furnace, plasma cutter, power supplies, inverter for PV, electric motor controllers, motors, CNC circuit mill, Nickel Iron Bats, etc), Housing Construction Set (some overlap with Tractor Construction Set), Open Materials Construction Set (Cement mixer, CEB, Sawmill, pelletizer, block makers; Industry Construction Set - hoppers, conveyors, vessels, pressure and temperature - for chemicals, gasses, materials, agriculture)
11. Communications are Collab Centric. That means we invest heavily into collaboration infrastructures. Such as Workbenches for design of all 50 tools on FreeCAD, etc. Or designing new house models in Sweet Home.
12. Twitter equivalent - Mastadon + The Fediverse and MAYBE BlueSky (Social Media) (depending on how that plays out)

15. What is role of Discord, Telegram, etc?
16. Is it true that FB and TikTok sells data to scammers, knowingly? [4] - or is that BS? If so, we should ban this from OSE. Right now we are heavy on OSE Workshops FB page. You may be susceptible to tracking on FB, but not on other sites unless they use Pixel or other spyware. [5]
