Wisdom Distillation

Upvoting can become a powerful tool for open source product development. For example, we can apply upvoting on a simple Q&A such as: What is currently the best small (20-100 hp) low maintenance diesel engine in the world that meets OSE specifications of long life, easy repair, and design transparency?

Howto

Large public involvement can be obtained by coupling the distillation function to online presence, blog posts, social media posts, workshops, public presentations, and incentive challenges. We can publicize the Q&A distillation as part of our Getting Involved, as an addendum to every Blog Post, as a call to action on social media for engagement, for engagement in YouTube videos, as engagement in others' social media threads.
