Practical Sublimation

Sublimation is the transfer of phenomena from the realm of troublesome and draining to positive and inspiring. A metaphor for this would be transferring various events/occurrences/conditions - from one to the other side of an imaginary dividing line - from shit to glory. While holding the possible of reverse transfer in mind at the same time - ie, that everything can change and everything is negotiable. It's a dynamic game of purifying experience towards growth as opposed to death. By definition, therefore, sublimation should be the natural state of human beings - as opposed to becoming oppressed and depressed.

The practical theory is simple:

  1. Identify problems to be solved, and identify solved or inspiring ideas. The latter is used as fuel to solve the more difficult parts - as one battles internally between the forces of good and evil. The key is to identify problems and Run Towards the Roar. The other key is to identify the drains and sources of energy, as both are related and both give insight to solutions.
  2. Gain a 10000 meter view from above. Remove yourself from the situation by killing your ego.
  3. To kill your ego, connect to a deeper purpose. We are led to believe that deeper purpose comes from Moral Intelligence.
  4. Develop your hard and soft powers to gain new problemsolving skills.
  5. Apply your skills to problemsolve the current situation.
  6. To problemsolve, act free from mental, spiritual, and physical blocks. Think big, without limits. Develop a mindset of abundance that allows such big thinking.
  7. Develop a mindset of Integrated Collaborative Literacy that enables you to work together in a highly authentic way. This means you are developing your character and developing your inner strengths by practicing various disciplines via Atomic Habits of Lifelong Learning.
  8. One must work on oneself constantly, 'taking out the garbage' in terms of healing any pains, resentments, or various afflictions that one may have learned by being subjected to various mishaps, suffering, abuse, trauma, or other hardships. By taking on a Stoic approach to life, one can prepare onself for difficult situations once they arise, becoming Antifragile as a step towards becoming Sublime. Sublime here means that one can grow no matter what happens, or make the best out of situations which would crush a typical person not well-versed in managing shock or change. Essentially, internal work leads to fully open and transparent communication and collaboration, with 'thick skin openness' - ie, we know how to work openly even while being attacked in various ways by internet trolls and vatniks, etc.
  9. Once internal issues are no longer blocks, one proceeds to bold or courageous solutions based on moral intelligence, not special interest or personal weakness. This means that the world is open for proposing fundamental solutions, as opposed to providing bandaids to solve a working issues.
  10. Impossibility Verification - Once fundamental solutions are identified, they should be verified to be impossible. That means, under current assumptions and societal capabilities, the problem is generally considered intractable. From this point, we move on to identifying what change, infrastructure or institutional adjustment, or other things need to happen for the solution to be executed successfully. This requires thinking at a level higher than the level at which the problem was created.
  11. Once impossibilities have been reconciled, we move on to prioritizing timelines and budgets. Staffing is educated, and resources are generated concurrently through Open Sector Cross-Subsidization
