Talk:Battery Recycling

The recyclability difference may be due to development time/need (ie lead acid has been around for longer, and li-ion are newer and/or not widespread enough pre-recently to make it economical) rather than posibility long term? Hard to tell, either way the only use case i see for Lithium Ion batteries is small/light applications such as portable electronic devices, and battery powered - power tools; all others can use Lead Acid Batteries (or other forms of Rechargable Batteries ), and grid scale is more suited to solutions that scale well such as FES , Pumped Hydroelectric Storage , or P2X (or similar concepts like liquid air storage, or compressed air storage)

Sidenote Lithium-Ion Battery Recycling is developing with the recent intrest to make EV's truely enviromentally sound, and to deal with a potential Peak Lithium (more so practically/ecologically/politically, not no lithium left per se)
